New Scientist: A magazine for those with an interest in science

Your task is to explain to the everyday person how we get our water! This should be in the form of an article in the New Scientist. The New Scientist is a magazine for people interested in science and contains a high level of detail whilst still remaining readable and fairly understandable to most of the general public. Any complex issues or statements must be explained in full.

You should include

  • Information about the water cycle and where water comes from
  • How it is collected and stored for us
  • How Water is treated and recycled back into the system
  • What hard water is and how it can be treated
